from The Local Beacon
It only opens from your side.
Tell one shop you are coming, and nobody else. First name, rough minutes, then HERE.
Share your first name and an estimate of minutes away, not your map or route.
Directory listings are not all participating shops. Sharing starts only after your consent in the app.

How it works
One trip, one chosen shop.
Pick the shop. See what you will share. Open the awning. Nothing goes to any other shop.
A small heads-up.
The shop sees your first name and about how many minutes away, then HERE. That is the whole message.
Stop stays in your hands.
Stop ends new updates on your phone at once. The app tells you when the share has ended.
One share
A heads-up, not a tracking screen.
Minutes are a rough distance-based estimate, not turn-by-turn travel time. On iPhone, updates continue during a share you started, with the screen locked. On Android and on the web, updates continue only while the app is open. The app shows what was last accepted.
Nobody can pull it open from the other side.
Browsing is not sharing. A link is not consent. Each new share starts with your choice of shop and your explicit permission.
You choose the shop.
You choose the moment.
Stop is always yours.
Your map stays private.

Your next stop starts with a choice.
